 Professional Chapter Montage

NOBCChE's professional chapters provide an environment for members to interact on a local level through networking, mentoring and other activities to advance the organization's mission. The purpose of a chapter is to generate interest in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and allied STEM fields by providing professionals opportunities to:

  • Share ideas and enthusiasm with colleagues
  • Influence the community
  • Explore career development opportunities
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Mentor upcoming generations of STEM professionals
  • Leverage access to a vast network of professionals

Through NOBCChE chapters, professionals have the opportunity to cultivate the skills required to continually thrive in a STEM career with the support of NOBCChE staff and resources. The activities of professional chapters can include lunch discussions about research, career, or skills building opportunities in STEM, lectures given by guest speakers, networking events, social functions, and trips to NOBCChE regional and national meetings.
