Jr. Scholars College to STEM Careers Initiative 

The NOBCChE Jr. Scholars College to STEM Careers Initiative aims to build a holistic and comprehensive K-12 Pipeline-to-College and STEM Careers Pathway program for students in K-12 schools located in the surrounding areas of the NOBCChE active chapters within NOBCChE’s universities network. This will be accomplished by bringing together K-12 schools, junior college feeder schools, universities, professional STEM organizations and STEM industry NOBCChE, 2021 2 partners. Through these partnerships, they will develop a strong pipeline that carries students through seamlessly onto an integrative college and career pathway. Offering students across all grade levels STEM education, career learning opportunities and work-based learning experiences. The initiative seeks to foster the capacity of each partner to offer career guidance, mentorship, college exposure and STEM learning opportunities, including stipend-based internships in the STEM-related industry that will engage and prepare students for in-demand STEM careers.
